This course is subsidized under the Government of South Australia's Flexible Industry Pathway (FIP) initiative. To be eligible for access to a subsidized training place in an approved course, a school student must meet the following criteria:

• Residency & Status: Must be an Australian citizen or New Zealand citizen, a permanent Australian resident, or an eligible visa holder residing in South Australia.
• School Enrolment:
  • Enrolled in Year 10, 11, or 12 and employed in a Training Contract that combines VET and school-based curriculum (including SACE); OR
  • Enrolled in Year 11, 12, or 13 and are 16 years of age (or turning 16 in the current year) and undertaking SACE or equivalent.
• Pathways: Must have completed a preparatory VET pathway. Training providers must sight evidence of this completion per Departmental guides.
• Fees:
  • VETRO Funding: Eligible students pay a Participant Fee of $600 or a Concession Fee of $400.
  • Fee-for-Service: Students who do not meet the VETRO eligibility criteria may enroll at a rate of $2500.

Queensford College use industry current practices and methodologies to ensure the training program is relevant to industry while also meeting Training Package requirements. Our students have access to a team of reliable staff and trainers that are available throughout the course duration. For the duration of the course students will be supported with the following:

• Student Services: for all administrative enquiries and on issues associated with general academic skills
• Trainers: to answer any questions students may have about the course content, assessments and study progress
• Help Desk: for any assistance on course materials and assessment submission through our online learning platform.

Queensford College recognises skills and knowledge gained through previous study or work. Credit transfer and Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) may be available upon application.
