Who should take this course: This skill set is for individuals who hold a qualification at Certificate III level or higher in Community Services, Health or a related field, who work in various care and support roles and wish to develop skills in providing person-centred support to people with disability.

| Knowledge Quiz | Questions such as true/false, multiple choice, matching, drag and drop, or sequencing. Available in Moodle as a quiz. |
| Short Answer | Short form responses to capture evidence of knowledge and, in some cases, skill application. |
| Practical Project / Observation | Requires students to complete practical tasks and written work. May involve: short answer questions, roleplay activities, presentations, completion of templates or reports, lab activities, and case studies. Trainers/Assessors may use observation checklists. |
This skill set is available under the Queensland Government’s Career Boost funding program. Eligible students contribute a co-contribution fee as outlined below.

*This skill set requires students to submit an AFP National Police Check (NPC) application. The $42.00 application fee is paid directly to the Australian Federal Police.
Standard Academic Entry Requirements:
Students must have the minimum knowledge and skills to study at this level, equivalent to an AQF Level 2 or above. Mature age students may be assessed on relevant work experience.
