Career Boost is a Queensland Government funded vocational education and training (VET) program, managed by the Department of Trade, Employment and Training (DTET). Career Boost helps Queenslanders level-up at work, enabling them to grow their skills in existing or new roles and supporting productivity growth and workplace innovation.
The program delivers training to help individuals develop the higher-level skills needed to secure employment, advance their careers, or progress to further education and training.
Career Boost supports two pathways:
In addition, under Career Boost, students may access up to 2 subsidised skill sets in priority industries or sectors.

General Training Pathway Eligibility
To access a subsidised training place under Career Boost (general pathway), a student must:

A student cannot do 2 general training pathway qualifications under Career Boost.
